A recent short video meant to loop within an installation. The short video is to serve as a high frequency visual cue to the viewer that something is just a little bit off... the chewing though not in focus suggests an orphic space of someone you do not know, whose gender you do not know... the material being chewed on (in this case red gum-balls) stand in for many alternatives (blood, meat, the self, childhood, mass production)... the looping signifies the never ending processes of chewing on ideas, concepts and materials fed to us by ourselves but in a larger picture society.
